Yang Du was born in Dalian, China in 1978. Educated first at Tsinghua University, she then went on to Central St. Martins in London to further her fashion education. Before starting her own label, Du worked for Vivienne Westwood, Giles Deacon, Christian Dior, and John Galliano. She was a finalist for ITS#7 in Italy and was featured as part of the Shanghai City Weekend Fashion Show at “China Design Now” at the Victoria and Albert Museum, London.
